USB-CAN adapter in the form of a small device with a USB type A connector in the shape of a flash drive. It allows communication via CAN bus between a computer and industrial equipment for testing, development or data analysis. It supports CAN2.0A (standard frame) and CAN2.0B (extended frame) standards with CAN transmission rates ranging from 5Kbps to 1Mbps. It can work with Windows and Linux systems, including Raspberry Pi and Jetson Nano minicomputers.
The device can operate in one of four operating modes: normal mode, loopback mode, silent mode, silent loopback mode. This provides great flexibility and versatility of operation. It supports various modes of sending and receiving data, including as a single frame, multiple frames, manual, regular and cyclic sending. It can be configured to receive data only from a specific ID or specify an ID to automatically respond to data.
The module is compact in size and easy to use. It is based on the STM32F103 microcontroller and is equipped with surge protection. It can be used for development and integration into various industrial communication and intelligent control applications that require CAN bus communication. Full documentation and usage examples are available on the product page.
