The Silicone Encased NeoPixel RGB Neon-Like LED Flex Strip - 1m is a flexible and bendable LED strip with a solid semi-transparent silicone rubber diffuser.
Silicone provides a strong, durable, weather-resistant casing. While it's not guaranteed to withstand underwater splashes or extended exposure to outdoor conditions, it's rugged enough for projects that need to survive outdoors, such as cosplay, bike lighting, or festival decorations. You can cut these materials with wire cutters.
You'll get a 1-meter-long tube with one end closed and a JST SM 3-pin connector at the input. Provide 9V (will work) to 12V (ideal) on the power pins and standard problematic NeoPixel (WS281x) data on the third pin—don't forget to share the ground pin between the 12V power supply and your microcontroller.
This strip contains 60 LEDs per meter, but they are grouped in sets of 3 LEDs per pixel. Essentially, in your NeoPixel program, this looks like a strip that's 20 pixels long.
Please note that the Adafruit METRO 328 used in the visuals is not included.
