On one side, there are traces leading to two rows of 0.1" spaced holes for the 14-TSSOP pinout, and on the other side, there's 14-SOIC. You can solder your chip to either side and then easily plug it into a solderless breadboard or perma-proto. Each item comes with six PCBs, each PCB is identical and can support a SOIC (narrow, medium, or wide variety) or TSSOP. They're 0.6" wide, which makes them ideal for use with SOIC or TSSOP ICs. Of course, you can use smaller chips but the pin numbering wont be right so use caution.
