Electroluminescent (EL) materials operate on the principle of phosphor-coated copper wire glowing when an alternating current (AC) is applied. EL stands for "electroluminescent," indicating that it lights up when electricity is applied. EL materials come in various shapes and sizes, such as wires and panels, and can be used in projects that require bright and aesthetically pleasing lighting.
