LDR Module is a digital output card designed for your Arduino projects. LDR is a type of photosensitive resistor. While it goes up to mega ohm levels in the dark, when it detects light, it comes to values as low as 5 ohms and allows current to pass. The resistor gives an analog output according to the light level. However, thanks to the special circuit on this card, it gives a digital output when it detects light at a threshold value that you can set with the trimpot. If you supply 5V to the card, the output will be 0V until it detects light at the threshold value, and 5V at the output when the light intensity reaches the threshold value. You can use the circuit with a voltage in the range of 3.3V-5V.
