If you want to add a bit more dynamism to your EL project, you can swap out this stylish 'flowing effect' EL wire for everyday things. Instead of a single core, this wire is actually three thin EL wires in one package. The inverter has a little timer that switches between the strands to make it look like it's flowing. There's a wheel to set the speed and mode with a button to select. The three modes are 'all off,' 'flowing effect,' and 'all on.'

This package comes with an EL flowing wire of 2 meters connected to an inverter that uses any two AA batteries (alkalines work better and are brighter, but we've tested it with NiMH rechargeables and it works). It has a belt clip on the inverter so you can attach it to something. Keep in mind that this is EL tubing, so it's short-cutable and because it's three-core, it doesn't mean you can splice or re-solder it when working with it. A set of two batteries lasts about 5 hours.

Please note! EL tape, EL wire, and EL panels are made with different processes - color and brightness won't be consistent across different types of EL products. EL flowing wire won't match exactly with regular EL wire, EL tape, or EL panels.
