The Tinker Board S R2.0 series, powered by the robust and modern quad-core ARM-based Rockchip RK3288-CG.W processor, offers significantly improved performance compared to other popular SBC (Single Board Computer) cards. The Tinker Board S R2.0, enhanced with the ARM Mali™-T764 GPU and dedicated processors, excels in high-quality media playback, gaming, computer vision, motion detection, image stabilization, processing, computational photography, and much more.
The Tinker Board S R2.0 series is equipped with an HD codec component that supports audio up to 24-bit/192 kHz. The integrated audio jack supports audio output and microphone input without the need for extension modules.
The audio jack also offers seamless plug detection, automatically switching audio output to a connected speaker or headphones.
The Tinker Board S R2.0 series includes a 40-pin GPIO interface that allows the creation of various interfaces, along with standard manufacturer connection options. It is equipped with a DSI MIPI connection for displays and touchscreen displays. The secondary CSI MIPI connection is designed for connecting compatible cameras, enabling computer vision and more.
The Tinker Board S R2.0 series also features Gigabit LAN for internet and network connectivity. A dedicated data bus source is designed for LAN connection points, ensuring consistent Ethernet performance. The integrated Wi-Fi and Bluetooth controller on the Tinker Board S is protected by a metal cover to minimize interference and provide enhanced radio performance. An integrated IPEX antenna header allows for easy replacement or upgrade of the antenna.
The Tinker Board S R2.0 series also includes a full-size HDMI output. Additionally, it offers four USB 2.0 connection points for comprehensive peripheral and accessory connectivity.
