The GPU provided with the Tinker Board 2 is the Mali-T860, the highest-performing multi-core GPU based on Arm's Midgard architecture. Mali-T860 is designed especially for complex graphics use cases and offers full support for OpenGL ES 3.0/3.1, OpenVG 1.1, OpenCL, and other frameworks for both next-gen and legacy 2D/3D graphics applications. Compared to the original Tinker Board, Tinker Board 2's Mali-T860 GPU accelerates graphics performance by up to 28%.
Tinker Board 2 supports dual displays with resolutions up to 4K UHD, making it well-equipped for impressive visual output. It also includes three built-in popular display interfaces for superior flexibility, including HDMI, DisplayPort via USB-C, and DSI.
Advanced 2x2 dual-band 2.4/5 GHz antenna-equipped 802.11ac Wi-Fi provides transfer speeds up to 10 times faster than previous Wi-Fi standards. Tinker Board 2 also features the latest Bluetooth 5.0 technology built-in, offering transmission speeds up to 2X and a range increase of up to 4X. Integrated Bluetooth provides the convenience and freedom of wireless connectivity with a wide variety of devices, including speakers, headphones, and game controllers.
Tinker Board 2 includes three USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports, offering data transfer speeds up to 10 times faster than USB 2.0, as well as a USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C (USB-C) port. In addition, it supports DisplayPort Alt Mode for DisplayPort Alt Mode for connecting external displays and OTG functionality.
