You have 60 RGB and Cool White LEDs per meter - you can control the entire strip at once with any microcontroller and three transistors. You'll need a 9-12VDC power supply to power them, and then you can ground the R/G/B/W pins to turn on the colors. Use any NPN or N-channel MOSFET (although the big powerful kind is good for a big strip) and use PWM input for color mixing.
This is the 60 LED RGB + Cool White version per meter.
A good 12V supply is critical to provide power.
Please Note:These strips are weatherproof, so they are more durable than open-air strips. However, they have not been tested for long-term immersion or extended exposure to UV (e.g. sunlight) without any weatherization. This means you can't put them into a pool, lake, aquarium, etc. They are best for indirect sunlight and/or light outdoor use without direct sun/su or rain. The strip may vary in brightness and color from the control board, even on a per roll basis. This is just the nature of this type of LED strip.
You can easily cut this material with wire cutters - there are cut-lines every 5cm (1 LED each) and weatherproof cover can be re-attached by just soldering a wire to the cut ends.
