One of our engineers loves Sno, took one on vacation, and Sameer Puri’s HDL Util erilog for Sno, so it would work as a VGA HDMI Xcelerator Block. The XB allows you to display VGA text and graphics on any monitor that supports 640x480 pixels.
Of course, you can use an HDMI breakout board or cable to connect Sno's pins to your monitor. But why not do it properly and equip your Sno with a Sno Shoe?! Sno Shoe will make your life easier. It provides:
A CH340E USB interface, so you don't need a separate FTDI output to configure Sno. To connect Sno Shoe, you can use standard Break Away Header Pins. (Soldering is required! If you haven't soldered before, you'll want to follow our tutorial nd practice before soldering your Sno.) If you want Sno to be removable later, you can use the separation pins on Sno and female headers on Shoe. Sno Shoe is designed to be mounted on top or bottom depending on your preference. In both configurations, a reset button and access to I2C separation pads are available. Long Break Away Headers should allow you to connect some breakout pins to a standard breadboard.
