Linear Flexible Potentiometer

You can use this sensor for linear position measurement. Thanks to its adhesive back surface, you can stick it to any surface you want. The nominal resistance between the two outer legs is 10 kΩ. The resistance value at the middle pin changes according to the force applied to the circular strip on it. When no pressure is applied, there will be no resistance at the middle pin, so it is necessary to connect it with a 100 kΩ pull-up resistor.

To use it, you can connect one of the outer pins to ground via a 10 kΩ resistor and connect the other remaining outer pin to a positive voltage like 3V or 5V using another 10 kΩ resistor. Do not make a direct connection to positive voltage without a resistor!
