The easy-to-use LIDAR-Lite v3 is a 40-meter laser-based optical distance sensor that encompasses all the fundamental features that made LIDAR-Lite v2 so popular. It boasts low power consumption, drawing less than 130 mA during a single shot, in a small and lightweight form. Additionally, it is user-configurable, enabling adjustments between accuracy, operating range, and measurement time.

Each LIDAR-Lite v3 is equipped with a single-beam 905 nm (1.3-watt) edge-emitting laser transmitter, with a 4 m Radian x 2 m Radian beam divergence and a 12.5 mm optical aperture. The third version of LIDAR-Lite still operates at 5V DC with an <100mA current consumption rate in continuous operation. Above all, LIDAR-Lite is user-configurable and allows fine-tuning between accuracy, operating range, and measurement time. An interface can be established through I2C or PWM using the included 200 mm accessory cable.

Note: CLASS 1 LASER PRODUCT CLASSIFIED EN/IEC 60825-1 2014. This product complies with performance standards for laser products within the scope of 21 CFR 1040, except for the characteristics approved by FDA-2016-V-2943 Variance Number from September 27, 2016.
