When the conductive traces, drawn in parallel, come into contact with water, an analog value can be read at the sensor's output pin. It can be used with many microcontroller platforms, including Arduino. Sensor usage is quite simple. By connecting the power supply voltage and ground, readings can be taken from the sensor output pin.
