Seeed Studio XIAO ESP32S3 Sense is a compact development board that is compatible with all XIAO development boards and shares a similar hardware structure. The 'XIAO' codename represents half of its feature, which is 'Tiny,' and the other half is expected to be 'Mighty.'

This development board integrates a camera sensor, a digital microphone, and SD card support. Combining built-in machine learning processing power with photography capabilities, it can be a great tool to get started with smart audio and visual artificial intelligence.

Description

Seeed Studio XIAO ESP32S3 Sense is built around the highly integrated Xtensa processor ESP32-S3R8 SoC, which supports 2.4GHz Wi-Fi and low-power Bluetooth BLE 5.0 dual-mode for multiple wireless applications. It also features lithium battery charging management.

This version of Seeed Studio XIAO ESP32S3 comes with an advanced OV2640 camera sensor module for viewing resolutions up to 1600x1200 pixels. Its base is even compatible with the OV5640 sensor module for resolutions of up to 2592x1944 pixels. The digital microphone is also carried with the board for sound detection and recognition.

This development board with a powerful SoC and integrated sensors includes an additional SD card slot to support FAT memory cards of up to 32GB, providing more programming space on the board and expanding the possibilities for on-device machine learning scenarios.

As a part of the Seeed Studio XIAO family, this development board maintains the classic thumb-sized form factor and elegant assembly of single-sided components.
