Argon is a powerful Wi-Fi-enabled development board that can function as an independent Wi-Fi endpoint. It is based on the Nordic nRF52840 chip and features an internal battery charging circuit. This means that you can quickly deploy your local network by connecting it to a Li-Po battery.
Argon is perfect for connecting projects to the Particle device cloud or acting as a gateway to connect all local endpoints. With additional features like Bluetooth, everything you love about the Photon model is combined in one.
All Particle hardware is designed to work with Device Cloud from the ground up; it's a powerful tool and infrastructure set to build, connect, and manage your IoT fleet. All Particle customers receive 10 free micro networks using a Wi-Fi or Ethernet gateway. A micro network is defined as a network with up to 10 devices and a single gateway.
