The MSP-EXP430FR6989 LaunchPad development kit is an easy-to-use evaluation module (EVM) for the MSP430FR6989 microcontroller (MCU), designed to kick-start development on the ultra-low-power MSP430FRx FRAM microcontroller platform. It includes everything needed to begin development, including onboard emulation for programming, debugging, and energy measurements. The board features onboard buttons and LEDs for quick integration of a simple user interface, as well as an integrated LCD screen capable of driving up to 320 segments. It also provides direct access to the Extended Scan Interface, created for low-power wake-up detection. The MSP430FR6989 device offers a persistent memory with ultra-low power consumption, 128 KB of onboard FRAM (Ferroelectric Random-Access Memory), ultra-low power, high durability, and fast write access.
