This is an industrial expansion module for the Raspberry Pi Compute Module 4 (not included) with common interfaces such as Gigabit Ethernet, HDMI, USB, CSI, and GPIO. The expansion module also allows for the connection of additional 4G/5G/LoRa wireless communication modules (not included) via an M.2 or Mini-PCIe socket and a SIM card slot. It also features industrial interfaces including RS485, CAN, and a built-in RTC.
With an industrially mounted protective casing, this module is an ideal choice for creating an IoT gateway, 4G/5G router, IoT data collection, and even a PLC device in industrial automation control systems!
Please note that this is the expansion base only. It does not include the CM4, power supply, or M.2 B-Key LTE/LoRa module.
Important Notes:
- DO NOT plug in any devices other than USB and HDMI while it is operational.
- Please check the fan voltage before connecting the cooling fan. The card supports a 12V cooling fan by default, so if you want to use a 5V cooling fan, change the FAN_VCC resistor.
- DO NOT CONNECT other devices through the Type-C interface while writing CM4 via the Type C interface.
- A power supply of 5V/2.5A or higher is recommended.
- DO NOT PROVIDE 12V DC and 5V Type C power to the card simultaneously.
- USB 2.0 is disabled by default. To enable it, you need to add the line "dtoverlay=dwc2,dr_mode=host" to the config.txt file.
