A relay is an electrical component used to switch high-current devices using low currents. This relay can be used with alternating current (AC).
Solid State Relays (SSR) differ from other relays in that they use a triac and do not have mechanical parts. As a result, they operate silently (without the clicking sound associated with traditional relays) and have a longer lifespan compared to standard relays.
