• The ACS712T ELC-30A is a linear current sensor with a range of ±30A, based on magnetic effects.
• It allows bidirectional current input up to 20 amperes.
• Provides an analog voltage output with an accuracy of less than 5%, equivalent to 185 mV/A.
• Designed for bidirectional input currents from -30A to +30A (the stable sensor IC can withstand overcurrents up to five times).
• Typical internal resistance on the conductive path is approximately 1.2mΩ.
• Using a Hall effect sensor means that the IC can electrically isolate the current path from the sensor's electronics (up to 2.1 kV RMS), enabling the sensor to be placed anywhere on the current path in applications requiring electrical isolation.
• The 80 kHz bandwidth can optionally be reduced by adding a capacitor to the pins designated as the filter on the board.
• High accuracy and reliability: Typical total output error at room temperature and factory settings is 4%, highly stable output offset voltage, and nearly zero magnetic hysteresis.
• The IC sensor can withstand overcurrent situations up to five times.
• Operating temperature range is from -40°C to 85°C.
