The MPU-6050 is a 6-axis IMU sensor module commonly used in various hobbies, multicopter, and robotics projects. It contains a 3-axis gyroscope and a 3-axis accelerometer for measuring angular velocity and acceleration.

The module has a voltage regulator on board, allowing it to be powered with a supply voltage between 3 to 5 volts. Both the accelerometer and gyroscope outputs are accessible via separate I²C channels. It can provide 16-bit resolution output for each axis.

Due to the standard pin spacing, it can be easily used on a breadboard or different circuit boards.
